On February 12, 2015,  Community Food Groups and City Councillors Robert Kirwan, Jocelyne Landry-Altman, Fern Cormier, Deb McIntosh, and Mike Jakubo met. There were presentations by the GSFPC, Eat Local Sudbury, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Centre de santé communautaire du Grand Sudbury, Community Garden Network, Sudbury Good Food Box/Boîte de Bonne Bouffe, Seedy Sunday event, FarmStart with Rowantree Farms, Better Beginnings Better Futures, and the Sudbury & District Beekeepers Association. The meet-and-greet touched upon different programs and events in the community, in addition to providing a great networking opportunity for all involved.
